The Addams Family School Edition is a darkly comedic show based on the iconic characters created by Charles Addams. The story centers on Wednesday Addams, who falls in love with a "normal" young man, creating tension between her eccentric family and his conservative parents. As both families come together for a dinner, secrets are revealed and chaos unfolds. With catchy songs and witty humor, the musical explores themes of family, acceptance, and embracing what makes us unique. It’s a fun, spooky celebration of love and loyalty. 

The Cromwell High School Drama Department's main goal is to spread the joy and excitement of live theater. We are dedicated to creating a sanctuary for students, staff, and community members where the only problem they have to face is what song comes next. Theater by its very definition is a collaborative form of performing art. Whether we are putting on a full-out musical, or just singing around the piano, the CHS Drama Department will always welcome everyone with open arms!
